Baby Your Baby Program Changes Name to Sunny Babies

Las Vegas - Effective February 14, 2011, the Baby Your Baby program for the Sunrise Health hospitals will change its name to Sunny Babies. The program itself will remain unchanged and continue to help uninsured women in Las Vegas.

The Sunny Babies program encourages women to seek early and continuous prenatal care, beginning in the first trimester of their pregnancy. Proper prenatal care is important to the health of both mom and baby.

The specially trained and bilingual staff at Sunny Babies works closely with pregnant women to determine if they are eligible for Medicaid. They help patients enroll in the selected financial assistance program, find a physician and ensure regular appointments for care. If moms-to-be do not qualify for Medicaid, they can be referred to a Sunny Babies provider who will accept a discounted payment plan.

To reach a Sunny Babies representative, please call 702-731-8703. Sunny Babies patients also benefit from their relationship with the Sunrise Health hospitals (including Sunrise Children’s Hospital, MountainView Hospital and Southern Hills Hospital) which provide childbirth and other prenatal classes. For more information about classes for expectant parents, please call 702-233-5300.
