Health Plan of Nevada and Sierra Health and Life Insurance Company and HCA Healthcare Sunrise Health System Announce New Contract Agreement
Effective Jan. 1, 2020, more than half a million Health Plan of Nevada and Sierra Health and Life Insurance Company members in southern Nevada will have in-network access to Sunrise Health System thanks to a new agreement between the companies.
Health Plan of Nevada/Sierra Health and Life Insurance Company (HPN/SHL) and HCA Healthcare Sunrise Health System have reached a multi-year agreement, which will provide more than 500,000 HPN/SHL members with in-network access to the health services at HCA Healthcare Sunrise Health System hospitals: Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Sunrise Children’s Hospital, MountainView Hospital and Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. In addition, this agreement provides HPN/SHL members with in-network access to 17 CareNow Urgent Care facilities, four surgery centers and two free-standing emergency rooms; total of 32 access points.
