Welcome to Sunrise Hospital and Sunrise Children’s Hospital, where above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. We believe that there is more to caring for our patients than just attending to your medical needs. While you are here you are not just our patient, you are also our guest.
The Guest Services Department is located in the main lobby of the hospital and is staffed by hospital volunteers. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm and there are limited, flexible hours on the weekends. Please call (702) 961-9256 and a hospital volunteer will be happy to assist you.

Our C.A.R.E. Cart is an example of our commitment to making sure that your stay in our hospital is as comfortable as possible. Hot towels, magazines, books, and U.S.A. Today Newspapers are delivered to all adult patient rooms daily, courtesy of the C.A.R.E. Cart. Also available through the C.A.R.E. Cart are playing cards, word search puzzles and other items to pass the time. Should you miss the art, please contact the front desk at (702) 961-9256.
An in-house Chaplain is available for spiritual care services by contacting the hospital operator. We have a Meditation Room located off the adult main lobby that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Family Meeting Rooms
Each unit at Sunrise Children's Hospital has a family lounge, some equipped with showering facilities, kitchenettes and lockers.
All of the rooms at Sunrise Children's Hospital are private rooms with individual amenities for the patient and their family. Each pediatric room has its own bathroom and shower, personal work station, sleeping accommodations for one parent, wireless Internet access, television and a gaming system.

Child Life Specialist
Child Life Specialists tend to the needs of each child and their family through educational and support services. They provide therapeutic play opportunities, incorporating actual medical equipment, to help children gain a sense of control in the hospital environment. Our specialists will also assist patients and families in identifying and using coping mechanisms to reduce the stress related to hospitalization.
Pediatric and NICU Social Workers
Sunrise Children's Hospital offers dedicated pediatric and neonatal social workers providing skilled, compassionate services throughout the hospital.
Bedside Sleeping for One Parent
The comfort of a parent or loved one is immeasurable in a time when your child needs you most. Sunrise Children's patient rooms have bedside sleeping arrangements so you never have to leave your child's side.
Playtime is important for kids. Being in the hospital doesn't have to interfere with that. Playrooms are available for young children and teens filled with age appropriate toys, movies, games, books and more to help keep our patients active and get them out of their rooms to engage in therapeutic play with others. Children in isolation will not be able to visit the playroom, but we can bring activities to their room.
Clothing and Personal Items
Flowers, books, toys, snacks, and much more can be found in our lovely gift shop, located in the lobby of the Children’s Hospital.
Feel free to contact our guest services volunteers at (702) 961-9256 who can assist with providing gently used clothing free of charge from our "Chaplin’s Closet".

The Café is located on the first floor of the adult hospital and serves hot entrées and to-go items. Café hours are seven days a week, 5:30am to midnight.
Stop by Illy's coffee cart in the lobby and grab a satisfying beverage or quick snack.

ATMs and Banks
There are ATMs located in the Cafeteria, Children’s Lobby and Emergency Room. Additionally, there are many nearby branches of Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Chase, all within walking distance.
We can help make arrangements with providers for patients with special transportation needs such as wheelchair accessibility to return to their home areas after discharge. Contact your Case Manager should this service be needed.

Being in the hospital doesn’t have to slow you down. To access our complimentary Wi-Fi for Windows:
- Double click the computer icon on the lower right side of the tool bar.
- Select View Wireless Networks.
- Select Guest Access and connect.
Once connected, agree to the HCA waiver.
It is our goal to make your stay at Sunrise Hospital as comfortable as possible. If you or your caregiver left home with nothing more than the clothes on your back, and you find you are in need of personal items, or you have an electronics need, we can assist you in locating a retailer nearby.
From your room the hospital operators will be happy to connect you to a long distance operator so that you can place a collect call to a loved one. If that is not an option, our on-site Walgreens carries calling cards beginning at $20 each. Contact the front desk at (702) 961-9256 and a hospital volunteer will be happy to assist you in obtaining one.
